double date

Doing this job has been amazing - not only have I got to meet the most amazing people I've also been making friends. These four live in my village. I'd met them through mutual friends a couple of times, sometimes at the pub randomly for a sunday lunch. They both approached me and we've had great fun ever since discussing weddings and slowly becoming closer and closer friends. Susie and Dom's wedding is on Saturday whilst Emma + Marks is in September. We all went for an evening walk in Wells-next-the-sea - made later by the couple of beers we had to have in the local before we left. The light was fading fast and the sun was refusing to come out but we had so much fun and finished the night off with fish and chips.

I know it's a little random doing the same shoot with two couples - but actually it worked really well and I'm pleased with the results. I hope you like them too!

And here's Emma and Mark's

If you like to do something similar with friends or family I'd love to hear from you. Just drop me an email and let me know your story.

Weekend Off

So this will be my last weekend off till October.. So we're going away to make the most of it! I have been having the most amazing time already, meeting incredible people and leaning and growing all the time. I really and can't wait to get stuck in to the rest of this year! But for this weekend I will enjoy some family time relaxing and enjoying the great british country side - and their pubs!

Hope you have a really special weekend and thanks once again for all the support!

Helen + Nick engaged

Well I finally have found the time to share my first ever engagement session!

Meet Helen and Nick - the loveliest couple who agreed for me to photograph them in their favorite location; Brancaster beach. For them it held a special romantic place where they enjoyed winter walks and for me to it was where I spent most of my childhood - either having picnics on the beach or watching my parents play golf most sundays so I know and love every inch of it. To escape the chilly wind we played in the dunes - talking and getting to know one another. We all giggled and I hope I managed to capture them as they are.

I can't wait till their October wedding where I can hang out with them once again.
